Bronwen O’Sullivan – Principal Solicitor

Bronwen has nearly 30 years’ experience living and working in country practice. She
has been the Principal Solicitor at Lane Buck & Higgins for over 25 years. Bronwen
is very experienced in family law, wills and succession planning, criminal matters
and commercial law and litigation. Through excellent relationships with
accountants, financial advisers and farm consultants Bronwen is able to provide
practical advice for your business structures and succession plans. Being a farmer
also assists Bronwen in having an understanding of the need for tailored advice to family farm enterprises and agribusiness.

Elizabeth Nicholson

Family Lawyer

Elizabeth practices in predominately family law, but is able to take a range of instructions. Originally from Victoria, Elizabeth has worked as a solicitor for many years in the South West region of WA. As a qualified Mediator as well as many years of experience in law, Elizabeth is able to assist clients through the difficult and complex area of family law in a practicable and effective manner in both contentious and non-contentious matters. In her spare time, Elizabeth breeds performance horses and been involved in dressage.

Kelly O’farrell

Legal Administration

Kelly has been working in both Administration and Finance rolls for over 20 years. Kelly has been living in Narrogin for 6 years and has been working with Lane Buck & Higgins for 4 years where initially started as our Receptionists and moved into Settlements in 2016. Heading bush in the 4×4 & camping with the family is the ideal time away.

Scott Ballantyne

Practice Manager

Scott is a keen golfer, a father of 2, husband to Sharon, hobby farmer, and starts work again after having taken time recently to care for his parents.

Scott is responsible for the business processes with Lane Buck & Higgins, and is working in the Narrogin office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Scott has a business degree (Accounting and Finance) from Edith Cowan University.

Abbie Murray

Paralegal

Abbie started her legal career with Lane Buck & Higgins as a Legal Secretary.

After spending some time in the big smoke, Abbie returns to us in a part-time role as a paralegal, showcasing her rise within the industry. Abbie combines a work from home role with time in the Narrogin office either on her way through to seeing her family in Wagin, or on her way back to the city.

Abbie qualified as an Assistance in Nursing and through this brings her caring and compassion to the work place.
