Jane Vickery
Senior Solicitor
We are very fortunate to have welcomed Jane Vickery to our team in May 2022.
Jane is a senior solicitor who graduated from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand in 2004 and practised as a solicitor in Christchurch until 2008. Since moving to Australia Jane has worked as a solicitor in Busselton, (2008) Melbourne, Bunbury and now returns to Busselton.
Jane has moved to Lane Buck & Higgins in order to reduce her daily commute, spend more time with family and work in the community she calls home. She is actively involved in the Busselton community, including serving on various local sporting and school committees over the years. Jane is currently a committee member of the Busselton Basketball Association.
Jane practices primarily in Family Law and deals with all de facto relationships and marriages break down. This includes child support, property settlements, family and domestic violence matters within the family law framework, spousal maintenance, injunctive relief, and applications for divorce. Jane can also assist with applications for adoption.
Where possible, if agreements can be reached by consent, Jane can assist with drafting the Application for Consent Orders and supporting documents, and lodging these with the Family Court. When required, Jane can take matters to the Family Court, in the Bunbury Circuit and in the Perth Registry, and has formed relationships with Family Law Barristers, where complex parenting and financial matters require the assistance of Counsel, at any stage of negotiations, regardless if proceedings have been issued.
